Stella Logan 2017

Well the ladies pulled it off and for only the 2nd time in the history of Bowls Lancashire (formerly the LCWBA) they have won the Northern Counties Stella Logan.

It came down to the last game of the 8 that they play and it was against Cumbria in their own back yard.

When they arrived they were aware that they only needed to secure two winning rinks and after 15 ends that did not look to be achievable. They were certainly going to secure one rink but that was not enough - then a fight back ensued and a second rink managed to creep into a lead.  In the end that rink had a very comfortable win and such were the scores on the two winning rinks they walked off with the overall aggregate as well.  A job well done.

It is hoped that in the near future the whole team will get together for a photo opportunity.
